Here they are! Many thanks to Wayne for his advice along the way.

The veneer is a non-wood yellow matte finish formica-like plastic. None of the available wood veneers looked like a good match with the bare drivers/horns, so we decided to go with something, um, different.

The cabinet maker didn't understand that the ports are supposed to be 10 inches deep (he left them as holes), so I have fashioned a temporary solution with cardboard tubes glued to the baffle. This seems to work and will be replaced with wood when the pieces are ready later.

The sound is very clear and tight, especially when run with a 150W SS amp (Sim Audio W5). With a 10W SET, midrange clarity is improved and bass is still tuneful but not as impactful. As Wayne predicted, you give up the lowest and highest octaves when compared with the 4-way JBL 4344Mk2, but midbass transients are much clearer on the Pi-4 Pros.
