Hello

I made a pair of speakers that were inspired by the 1 Pi using the Alpha 8 and Vifa H26TG-35 tweeters. I am impressed with the sound coming out of them, although the tweeters need about 2 dB attenuation. I used a larger enclosure than the 1 Pi, 1.3 cubic feet compared to ~.65 (I think,) so they should go deeper. I do not feel like I'm missing much bass. The crossover is a .5 mH coil on the woofer and a 3.0 uF cap and a .4 mH coil on the tweeter. I am very happy with these so far, I cant wait to see how they sound with an active crossover (should arrive tomorrow, hopefully.)
