Reducing the Pi plans to a more-easily printable size seems to pose a problem for many here. I've found that Canon Photo Desk, a program that comes included with many printers and scanners, does this quite well. Just open the *.jpg file in Photo Desk, crop it and print it. Doesn't matter if it's b/w. Printing in landscape works best.

ACDSee also works very well. It is a fantastic program that can be downloaded and used for free as long as you are willing to download ACDSee's regular product advertisements. That is a small price to pay for a program that can expand or shrink a graphic to fit a page size and print a contact sheet of you favourite digital photographs. Brian
