What gauge wire is required for the inductors in the 4Pi Pro. I've been attempting to wind my own with mixed results, in other words, I'm about ready to throw in the towel and phone Solen! I was wondering if 20 gauge on the tweeter and 12 gauge on the woofer would suffice. Underkill, overkill? Kelly

Actually, you can't really "overkill" so the large wire for the woofer is fine, but you don't really need to go bigger than 16 guage for this coil, even if it has an air coil. The required coil in the tweeter circuit is a bit surprising, because there actually is the potential for a reasonably high current through this coil. But 20 guage is fine there.
Solen's catalogue doesn't carry the exact values of inductors that the crossover calls for. They have .58 .62 .68 and .75 mH in 10 - 20 ga. wire, is ther an optimal "mix" that will not mess up the crossover. THX again Kelly
