Have a few D130 (alnico) frames sitting here, what do you guy's
recommend I recone these as? Say, which for a

I usually recone with the genuine original kit, unless it isn't available. The D130, D130F and D130H use the JBL recone kit C8RE130, and the D130F-16 uses the C16RE130 kit. See the "where used" document below.

You might call David Miller at Speakerworks in Tulsa, (918) 664-6299. He's authorized by JBL, keeps most reconing kits in stock and he's really good.

Looks like 2235 is best bet for small ported. Now, what's
the best for horn loaded (A-7) cab.? I will be using genaric
cone kits like waldom.

Problem with the "keep original" idea is I have no use for
a M.I. speaker (D130).
