I usually recone with the genuine original kit, unless it isn't available. The D130, D130F and D130H use the JBL recone kit C8RE130, and the D130F-16 uses the C16RE130 kit. See the "where used" document below.You might call David Miller at Speakerworks in Tulsa, (918) 664-6299. He's authorized by JBL, keeps most reconing kits in stock and he's really good. Wayne

Looks like 2235 is best bet for small ported. Now, what's the best for horn loaded (A-7) cab.? I will be using genaric cone kits like waldom.Problem with the "keep original" idea is I have no use for a M.I. speaker (D130).
