I just measured a mailing tube I found at the office to use as a port for my 1 pi's. The ID of the port is 2 7/16 with a wall thickness of about 1/16. Is this close enough to work correctly in a 1 pi? What length should I use w/ a 3/4 in. baffle?

Thanks for all the help. As soon as the Motorola tweeters come off backorder, I should have these finished!

That's exactly the tube your speakers were designed to use. It's a standard mailing tube having 2.5" OD and 0.060" wall thickness, which is then 2.38" ID. The total port length from entrance to exit should be 3.5".

I buy these mailing tubes in bulk at www.PaperMart.com.
