How do you fasten the T-nuts to the baffle? Once you drill a hole for it, do you just drive it in and sink the metal tabs into the MDF and hope that the MDF will continue to grab them for years to come, or do you put some liquid nail into the hole before driving the T-nut into it to make sure the T-nut will never come loose.
What you want to do is push the nut into the hole as far as you can with finger pressure, (which isn't very far) then run your screw from the outside as though you were installing the drivers but with a big fender washer to keep the screw from ruining the hole. Make sure all 3 tangs of the nut are biting the wood and tighten down until the tangs are fully into the wood. It's time-consuming but the only way to keep those thangs seated. I see posts that recommend a dab of glue in the hole but I don't like to have to worry about gluing the screw, or screwing the glue.
