Hi, I'm back.

Had a lovely vacation in Croatia - stayed near Porec on the Istrian peninsula. Pine woods, wild animals, the sea. Porec is a very pretty old town.

Hotel: nice room, good food.

We went on trips to Lake Bled in Slovenia, and to Venice.

Glad that you like it... I was near Zadar, Dalmatia. Here`re a two pictures, maybe I`ll post a few more in "Dungeon" section if I find some time...

It's a really nice part of the world. And quite quiet too. Porec and its environs were really quiet - some might say not a lot going on.

I'd love to go back to Dubrovnik - such a beautiful old walled town.

Yes, many people don`t like "Ibiza-like" mass/commercial tourism, but want a peace and natural beauty for their family-vacation. There`re still nice and quiet places...yes, Dubrovnik and Cavtat near it ... islands... but, the world is changing...

Well, not that close - Dubrovnik is on the south, and Zadar in the "middle" of the Adriatic coast... Huh, Dubrovnik (and the whole area) is one of these "perfect", beautiful and "sacred" places...
Last time I was there four years ago...
One photo from the Zadar, also very old and nice place...
