This post is for anyone interested in building JBL loaded subs. I was under the impression, based on the fact that JBL 15" 2235's are listed on the JBL website as "obsolete". Apprently they are still available as I just picked up 4 of them. For reference I paid $460.00 Can. each, which to me seem very reasonable considering how much used ones go for on E-bay or even the ones JBL sold on their E-Tent Sale.

What supplier in Canada did you buy from? I am thinking about using some JBL drivers in a new project and would like to source them in Toronto or Montreal if possible. Regards, DonM

The point of the post I was trying to make was to try who ever is your local dealer, at least give them a shot. I'm sure there are better deals out there but that was the best pricing I could get locally or otherwise. Just to give an example PE sells the 2226 for $339.00 US which works out to approx. $509.00 Can. add $50.00 US freight and your up to $581.00 Can. before tax! So $425.00 for 2226's and $460.00 for 2235's (freight in to Saskatoon) seems to be a good deal to me. So find a local guy that does a lot of business with JBL and see what they can do. Kelly
