Hi Wayne, others,

I was looking at the specs for the Crown amps in the PE catalog and
what a little puzzled at the max output power they are specifying.
The big ones are rated at over 2000 watts bridged, mono. Last time
I checked, the max power out of a standard wall socket is 1875W
(125V * 15A). Considering that audio power amps aren't 106%
efficient, what am I missing. Even if you used a 20A outlet and
assumed 50% efficiency, that's still "only" 1250W. Do these things
run on 220V AC? What is their efficiency? Inquiring minds want to
know. Thanks.
