Hi Wayne,
cold you send me, please, plans for studio 1Pi ?
I’ve two Alpha 8's (new generation=current set of T/S params
from www.eminence.com) so I will be able to do A/B
comparison with my 2Pis.

I am planning to use it in HT setup in the future: front 2x2Pi,
rear 2x1Pi. I am looking for a suitable center
and for a suitable sub: do you have any recommendation ?

Thanks in advance,
Vladimir

I'd be tempted to run a one π or two π speaker for the dialog center channel. For the subwoofer, I'd probably use a Theater Series three π speaker. You can omit the tweeter and crossover since you'll be using it as a sub. This is a good match for your other speakers, both in performance and in size. It's not very large, and it will hit 30Hz pretty well, particularly with a little EQ.

Thanks a lot !!!

My room is 5m*8m*3m, i am using solid state (onkyo) for HT.
I have also one free corner: wold be corner horn sub
a better solution ?
Could you send me also the plans for the sub ?

Thanks again,
Vladimir

I've never been a fan of using a single cornerhorn sub, or any single sub for that matter. The best way to get smooth bass is to use more than one subwoofer. Standing wave nulls from one subwoofer are filled in by the other(s).
