Hey Wayne, I've been talking to Mitch, and he's thinking about going with the 4pi theater series. It says on the website that the price for the kit is about 230 dollars for the kit. I am assuming it is for one speaker. So total is about 460 dollars, right? What all does this include? I assume it has the drivers and crossover parts. I guess we would have to buy the wood and venner. Also, he would like to hear the 2Pi's before he builds the 4Pi's just to see how the piezo drivers sound. Do you have any idea when you will have them made? Thanks, Wayne!

Kits include the speaker drivers, the connector panel, hook up wires, "π" logo decal and a printed copy of the plans. For larger speakers that incorporate a compression tweeter and crossover network, kits also include the crossover, tweeter compensation cable assembly, Zobel woofer damper, and all cable assemblies are completed and ready to install. Every kit containing a compression driver also includes the horn flare and the bolts to mount the driver to the horn.

Come by anytime, I'd be happy to let you hear my speakers.

Cool. The reason I dont build a pair of PI speakers is mostly because I found out about them too late, and also because I dont have enough money! :-( I could build a pair of 2pi's, but I would really then want a pair of 4pis! You know how that goes. Then I would have no money to spend on my computer! hehe. Seriously though, when I get older and out of college and hopefully make decent money, I am going to build a pair of the 3pi Professional all JBL speakers. Unfortunatly at that time, I will probably be living in an apartment and will have to stash them at my parents house, and visit them to afford a listening session! The Pi speakers would match up with my Blueprint 1803 a lot better than the small 2 way speakers I have now with 8" woofers.
