Gotta hand it to Wayne. I had a lot of trouble believing that a 15" 2-way system could sound the way everybody said they did, but they surely do. All the sweetness of my tweaked Buschorn MK2s, and they may be as accurate or more so, I need lots more listening time. Of course they have more range and play much louder. I went back and forth between WinISD and Wayne's PiAlign software, using his emailed box plans as a reference, to arrive at the box tuning. I mitered the panels, taped them together, glued them, then rolled them up a la Terry Cain because I couldn't think of any other way to hold all 8 sides together and straight. The sheen comes from 8 rubbed-in coats of Tung oil. No compound or wax yet. The horn flare is the PE el cheapo wrapped with Duct Seal. The port's in the back, which is finished like the fronts. Many thanks to everyone who answered my questions over the last few months while I got geared up to do this project. John

John, The 45'ed corners lend a vintage feel without being busy or antique. That makes the dark finish really work great IMO. Nice! Thomas

Hi Linc, I think they turned out to be 49.5" x 23.5" x 13" outside, which is slightly smaller than the original. I imagine the sound is very similar to the Theater 4 pi on stands, but can't say for sure. Wayne has suggested that some playing with the numbers won't hurt anything as long as you get the tuning right and space things to avoid standing waves. The width was the bugger for me too. John
