(2) 2380A 2" throat horns
(2) 2440 2" throat compression drivers with 2441 diaphragms
(2) Fostex FT17H super tweeters
(2) M121-8 12" high efficiency wide range (similar to EVM12L)
(2) 2427H 1" or 2" compression drivers
(6) Klipsch 10" anodized aluminum shielded midbass drivers

You can build all kinds of good stuff. 2 way, three way, 4 way, separate subs and mains, Pi speakers, Edgar-type system.........how about something like Drew Daniels system, see link

At the JBL Tent sale for $260/pr shipped. I'm thinking of picking up a pair for experimenting with a 300Hz-1200Hz use. I don't have a source for the 2012H but I would bet it is MUCH more expensive than what you can get the 2123 for at the JBL Tent Sale.

Also, the 2123 seems a bit easier to work with, the FR is flatter up top (from the JBL spec sheets anyway)

But there seems to be a lot of drivers that have that characteristic. My guess is that using them in a horn to bring up part of the response would be part of their intended use. I don't really know... maybe Wayne can comment.

The older driver has better efficiency also... just by a smidgen. The newer 2012 is supposed to be lower distortion but I suspect they are both so low over the their frequency range that the parts would be identical for all practical purposes.
