Hi. I saw some relatively inexpensive veneer at Home Depot. Is it simply a matter of cutting to fit, applying contact glue and then trimming with a router? I've heard about "bubbling" but Im not sure what this means. Thanks for any tips. Ray

Don't know what wood veneer HD might sell but if it's wood and unbacked, not for the faint hearted beginner. NBS backed is good with contact adhesive and of course plastic laminate like Formica, Wilson Art, etc.
Most problems are due to not using 2 coats of glue; waiting too long or too short a time to apply or application in too cold temps. Other than that it's just what you say.
