I would like the Theatre 4 but the Thermionic 3 is just a little smaller. Is there a large difference in sound between these two? I would like to have the option of using them with solid state or flea power. Thanks, Ray.

The Thermionic three π is sligntly underdamped and the Theater four π is slightly overdamped. The practical application of this is that the Theater four π sounds best in corners or against a back wall and the Thermionic three π sounds better out in the open, pulled away from walls.
