Curious about adding a pro-midrange to the stage 4. I happen to have a couple of audax 8 inch mids, HT21OT0 drivers I would like to try in the mix. These are 96db and published specs are absolutely flat from 200 to 6k and drops about 10db per octave on either side. Would it change the response of the PSD2002 crossover if I add a midrange to the mix? Was thinking of running the mid from about 300 to 1600 or 2000. Or would a whole new design be the best remedy. I know Yorkville uses Audax mids in their high end pro speakers.
