Yeah it's off topic, but I am curious how many woodworkers/Pi builders are also into "wrenching", especially motorcycles. I was hooked into the horn hobby partially by "Roscoe's" web site, where he claimed it took "a whole lot of harleys" to drown out his VOT's at biker parties/picnics. I've got a pair of "work in progress" VINTAGE (well, 78 and 76 models) Z1 streetfighters out in the garage. Anyone else enjoy the wind in your face and bugs in your teeth? anyone got plans for a 12vdc tube powered headphone amp? maybe I'll just superglue one of those "new-fangled" mp3 players to the side of my helmet and wear earphones :) nothing like blasting "Die Valkerie" while doing a ton around the lake road, trying to stay a half length ahead of your buddy, sparks flying from the footpeg as you lean over and become one with the universe... Fairly new to it, but I'm getting into them. Thinking of getting an 69 Camaro for a project car, really not sure yet. I dunno about tube amps, but I once built a 20 watt solid state for my headphones that would run off two 18 volt batteries, although it would take 12 volts as well. Adam

I have an '80 Yama 650 twin on which the wife and I roar around the back roads. Got my MC license in '72 on an early '60s Benelli 200 with low bars, big tank, straight pipe. It sounded fast, felt fast then, but at 12 or 15 hp wouldn't do a wheelstand at 80 or anything like that. John

My current ride is a 99 bmw boxer. Project (restoration) bike, there always a basket case bike around, is an old kawasaki two-stroke tripple. Bikes, audio, and appreciating beautiful women. Now those are hobbies. (grin) Steve
