Hello All
I am thinking of upgrading my speakers and I am wondering which way I should go. I have homebuilt 45 and 71A based SE amps so I need something that is very efficient. I was looking toward the 4pi, but I sort of had my heart set on a folded horn as the speakers I have now are bass reflex. I want to try some pure horns. Has anyone used the 10 folded horn for home use? I would be interested in any feed back on ease of construction and most of all how they sound. Thanks for the help!
Vince

I have a pair of semi-complete ten pi folded horns.

They are nice speakers, but they are very large and not easy to build. If you don't have a large listening room, they take up a ton of space.

Also, prepare to have plenty of cash on hand. My Ten pi's will have cost me over two grand (canadian) by the time I am finished, because there are a lot of little intricate things you need for them.

Cool to have, though! :)
