Hi,

Just wondering if anyone has tried using any of the two way or three way speakers in the pi enclosures? I have an opportunity to acquire some 12" university three ways and wondered how they would sound in the 3 pi's.

thx,
DannyG

Most all π Speakers have been two-way or three-way designs. The smaller ones are two-way speakers and the larger ones have usually been three-way systems, except for models which use a direct radiating midwoofer DI matched to a horn tweeter in a two-way configuration. Check out the pictures of various π Speaker models on Danny's web site.

Sorry, I didn't make my self clear. These speakers that I am talking about are three way speakers. They are 12" woofers with a mid and horn tweeter built into the center of the woofer. Kind of like a tri-axial.

Thanks,
dg
