I have aquired one. Don't really want to go for reflex and don't want to go huge (20ft^3+). I've already got one big TL sub and it takes three people to get it down the stairs.
Any ideas or comments?

I haven't done simulations, but it would probably run fine in an 8 cuft ported box, maybe even less.

Otherwise, you have limited options. It's not exactly an ideal sealed box woofer, and building a horn loaded enclosure will be even large then a standard ported box.

Hi Otor

Karlson 15 Ultra-fidelity was developed in 1951 by John E. Karlson as a hybrid with front mass-loading of the cone from a front-chamber having a broadbanding resonance chatacteristic using a tapered aperture whose slot area increases as pipe cross-sectional area decreases - backwave is part reflex and part pipe - they can exhibit pretty powerful punch on bass transients - also - they look neat :~) see Job Ulfman's site for various articles and forum
