Eh? These look the same and have PN #1165... are they the same just with different labels? or is the pyle a CTS knock-off?

Pyle is now owned by Pyramid and they do not manufacture any product. theyre U.S.A made speakers are Eminence and chinese stuff is outsourced. it's a strong bet Motorola makes that tweeter or else it's a chinese knockoff. cheers, george

I bought the Pyle pair (3 actually) a while ago. They don't have the protection circuit, and if the freq. response does to go 30KHz, its down a few dB, because they don't sound like it. Nothing on them says Motorola nor CTS. When I buy some more, I'll get the CTS/Moto versions. They don't sound bad, but I expected a little more based on the comments others have posted about the CTS 1165's. You can't complain too much for $5-6$ each.Chris
