I just realized that I have my Four Pi's set up with the ports on the inside (toward the space between the speakers). Should they be on the outside? Does it make any difference?

They sound so great anyway!

The speakers are made in "mirror image" pairs strictly for aesthetics. There is nothing wrong acoustically with having the ports on the same side instead.

Hi Patrick,

I think that now I realize that Wayne is a much more level headed guy than many and certainly me (thank god, since someone has to design such awsome speakers!) so of course I would imagine he would say it does not matter. However, I was pondering the very same question. My brand new Theater 4's are presentlyset up the same as yours. I propose just out of curiosity, that we both switch around and try it the other way (uh oh, this is sounding bad!?) and report back here in a day or so. I suspect there might be a very subtle...!
