I bought a pair of Eminence Beta 112 inch drivers, rated 150w rms each, to replace some Skytec 12 inch bass drivers, but when i came to fit them they would not fit, i've discovered the Eminence have a wider and different frame to the Skytec, so to make it fit, I scaped off some wood with a stanley Knife around the holes, and sanded it. Now fits perfectly. Also sounds much better than the originals, but people have said things about box dimensions vs speaker volume in litres. is this utter nonsense. As this hasn't effected any drivers now or in the past which i put into cabinets.
