But seriously, the 45rpm heavy vinyl reissues of classic albums beat the 33rpm versions by a good margin. Some of them come with both so you can really compare. Of course, that only feeds the hunger for more 45's, which is just what they have in mind!

So, for a single LP 33 1/3 release you can end up with over a kilogram of vinyl:
One 220 gram slab with two sides stamped @33 1/3
Three or Four 220 gram slabs with one side stamped @ 45 to cover the same material!

Crazy, crazy, crazy . . . . but the sound! Yeah, baby!
