Are these compression drivers different or is the 2426 just a 2416 in a tux? tdc

Illuminati (33rd Degree)

The 2416 is for pre-installed applications, in-house and OEM. It's the same driver as the 2426 except for the absense of a magnet cover.

my 2 cents, i purchased jbl 4655 from the tent sale which have this tweeter. i've been told they are the same except for the rubber surround over the magnet and the better wire connectors on the 2426. they sound the same.
