Wayne, Did you ever get a chance to "run the numbers" on these to see how well they might work in a pi-align configuration? Any suggestions would be helpful. On the jbl site, I found a reference where they indicated this driver was for situations where the 600 watt 2226 is overkill, hence the lighter cone and smaller dia. voice coil. Thanks, Sam

and ordered a 4638 system from jbl...$217 for a pair of 2035H's, they will be used for rear surrounds, as an adjunct to the jbl/altec front channels. The empty 4508 enclosure...if it will support the toshiba, I'll throw a pair of full range University 15 in. Diffusicones in it for use as "center channel". So I'll be running those 2035's like "2nd cousin-4-pi's"? Same HF and xover options/caveats apply? Or should I investigate the "di-polar" tweeter configs? I had planned mounting them near the wall/ ceiling boundary, to the left and right of the listening position. Behind the listeners, on the rear wall is also easy. OK, so both positions will be tried. Wayne, thanks for the data. Sam
