Hey, I was wondering what your thoughts are on building a 7 pi corner horn, and rather then placing it in the corner of a room, use plywood to build a giant horn mouth like the corner of a room so it can be used in places other then in a corner.

It would prolly be pretty big, with the horn edge shooting out like 4' with a giant mouth, very difficult to move, very heavy... Do you think it would be worth it? Would it have the same effect as a standard corner placement???

Thanks

Adam

That's a freestanding horn, like the ten π folded horn [message #34447 is a reply to message #34446] Sun, 16 December 2001 18:04 Go to previous message

You could make "wings" for a seven π, but I think it would be awkward to setup and move braced panels. Probably better to use a ten π folded basshorn.
