I have a bunch of this wool-like 1/2" thick carpet pad that I got for use in a tapered quarter wave tube project and was wondering if it can adeqately be used to line the specified interior sufaces of my Theater 4's? It is pretty dense stuff- not fluffy like insulation that I've heard is OK to use. Can anybody help me out here? What is best to use? Thanks!

I'm afraid that stuff will be too thin and dense. Use 2-3" thick fiberfill like is in the attic of your home. R11 or R13 is perfect.
