thanks for the reply (wow - great image by Adam!!)

-looked at my old graphs of the Eminence CD-8 without network on Altec horns - 811 has a LF corner just ~ 500Hz and 511 somewhat below 400Hz ~1/2 octave so these old horns should provide some decent loading. btw - a PV CH-2 looked real smooth - not sure about the compensation needed - surprisingly, it measured very extended in HF - sounded kinda laid-back - is CH-2 considered CD?
