Hi Wayne and group -

right now have a long-throw (9.5mm) Eminence built 4 ohm car woof in a 12" Karlson - - almost "reaches" a CD-8 Eminence driver on 811 - running ~ textbook 1.8Khz network its lacking some midrange "life" - believe part of the problem besides limited woofer HF extention is due to baffle tilt of Karlson which may demand a driver with rising on-axis response (btw - the little Karlson woofer kicks pretty well)

anyhow - have any of you run your Eminence 1" drivers in 1.2Khz xover regions and if so how were sound and dynamics? - I've tried 1.2K 3rd order hipass and it seemed relatively unstrained - didn't try it at intense levels - am tempted to run 4th order passive hi-pass.

Best wishes!
Freddy
