Hi all,

I am progressing slowly to my Pi-aligned afterburner
and currently I am searching for some suitable tweeter
because i haven't access to RatShack tweeter.
Thorsten suggested Beyma bullet tweeter CP16.
I have also possibility to purchase another Beyma's tweeters
and also Eminence tweeters - do you have an opinion on the APT-80?
Or better: could someone compare CP16 and APT-80 ?

Thanks,

O'Tor

I'm going to try the Fostex FT17H tweeter with my Four Pi.

Hi Frode,

Thanks for your input. Is the FT17H the same tweeter as used
by BC Acustic (spkrs like Niger, Nill,...highly regarded HiFi
speakers) ?
I think it's French company, not shure if present in US.
Anyway, their HF sound is excellent !

Hi!
I don't know if this tweeter is used in the speakers you mention. When I tried to order the FT17H from Studio M in Italy, they said that it was out of stock. They would get a new shipment in the end of the month. They also recommended the Technics 5HH10 tweeter at 63 Euros each(FT17H 53 Euros). I haven't decide which one to get yet.

Regards
Frode

Hi Frode,

I dont know Technics, but Thorsten suggested to use Fostex
FT17H OR Beyma CP16 for Afterburner. Beyma is a litle bit cheaper
(in CZ 1 pc=1,300CZK = 39EUR).
