Hi Folks,

I'm trying to find the T/S parameters for those little 4" full
range drivers from Radio Shack. I have one in a TQWP box that
works pretty well, but I'm thinking about putting two plus a piezo
tweeter in a Pi-aligned box for use as rear channel HT speakers.
They'll be good to about 80-100Hz. What I don't have is Vas
or resonant freq.

Here's what I have for the Fostex FE-103E. Not sure if it's the same as the Radio Shack 40-1197 or not.

Vas = 420 c.i.
Qts = 0.35
Fr = 80Hz
Sensitivity = 89dB/2.83v/M
Max power = 15W
Xmax = 0.01"

I found this at www.radioshack.com It's not the complete T/S params, but it's a start. I'd do a search on the Full Range Driver Forum http://f18.parsimony.net/forum31999/ to see if the info is there. If not, post a message. Many folks on that forum have worked with the RS 40-1197.
