Hi Wayne-

I have a chance to purchase a pair of jbl 2225's for a reasonable price. I was wondering if these would be appropriate for the pro pi 7's i'm building. Would any of the cabinet dimensions change, and more importantly, would the sound quality be comprimised? BTW, I will be using a 10w/channel tube amp.

Thanks in advance.

Very good woofers, they'll work great. I used 2205's and 2225's in the eighties and they are still two of my favorites.
