You're right, this system is pretty insensitive to component shifts. I've designed it that way on purpose, because the electro-mechanical properties of the drivers shift, so we need some "wiggle room" for everything to work properly when you put the power to them.

Components with 10% tolerance are fine, less than that is right on the money.
