Well, I am placing my last order so I will have all of parts I need for the Four Pis, so I now have a total cost of the parts.
I searched around and found some pretty good deals so I feel I am getting quite a bargain on my Four Pis.
Order#1 (2) 2426H drivers, open boxed but never used $390 shipped
Order#2 Parts Express (2) H290 horn flares and (2)Dayton .47uF film caps $70 shipped
Order#3 Mars Music (2) 2226H drivers $577 shipped
Order#4 Madisound speaker components, crossover parts $67 shipped

Grand total spend on all the parts $1104.00
(if I did not care about cost and just bought it all from Parts Express then it would have cost me around $1400)
But believe me, it was alot of work to save that $300!!

Shortly I will begin building the enclosures, I will have pics of the raw enclosures, crossovers, finished enclosures, and the finished speakers.

I am either going to finish the speakers in an esoteric wood veneer like birdseye maple or a nice looking Formica laminate ...like my last speaker project that is shown.. whatever I do it will be unique.
