How decent is the JBL 2410 driver? I noticed some on Ebay. I have decided to go the cheap route for the four Pis, I picked up a used pair of 2226H drivers for $350 and I also want to find used tweeters.

Yes, that driver will work. You might look at the Eminence PSD2002 too, because it costs about the same new as a used JBL driver. It's a pretty good driver, especially for the price.

Is this the proper version of the PSD2002 that I need?

By the way , at this point I don't have a choice because Parts Express has dropped the price of the PSD2002 to $61.01ea! and the H290 is only $29.11.

That's the right driver, but you'll need to get the PSD2002 bolt-on version to mount on the H290 horn.

Thanks Wayne, I understand everything in the plans except the tweeter circuit..... Is this how you do it? -----0.47uF----- | | Crossover tweeter out (+) -------|------16ohm--------- Tweeter (+) | | 16ohm | | Crossover tweeter out (-) ---------------------------- Tweeter (-) Is this correct?

Doh, that's what the crossover shows. I meant to show you how I think I'm supposed to make each 16 ohm resistor: |----16ohm--------16ohm----| ---| |--- |----16ohm--------16ohm----| Is that right?

I went ahead and laid out the entire crossover on the bottom of the page of the following link, would you mind looking it over Wayne?

Thanks a lot , James

Yes, that's exactly how you do it.
