Grand Master
audiolapdance, great moniker! anyhow my speakers are awaiting the proper x-overs. they were incorrectly made and wayne is fixing them up for me. even with the incorrect x-overs the speakers were awesome. i don't recall ever listening to a speaker with these dynamics, speed and ability to move so much air. the zen plays them loud but not loud enough for my parties. i've kept my old kenwood thx amp for parties. a friend is building the 4 pi's. i'm using eminence kilomax drivers while he's using jbl pro's. we will keep the forum posted. my 7 pi's cost me about $1200.00 cdn (appr $700.00us). it just goes to show how inexpensive it is to have a pair of killer speakers, i believe the vast majority of speakers are well over priced and sold on marketing talent alone. being in the audio business for close to 20 years i have seen all the hype and listened to hundreds of loudspeakers, i've owned dynamic speakers, planars, electrostats and even dare i admit bose 901's. i believe the truth in speaker design lies with horns and especially matched with set's. once your project is completed i'm sure you will agree. keep us posted.

thanks,
george
