I have a pair of MCM 55-2421 8" woofers, never used, DC resistance of the voice coils matched at 4.1 ohms each. Purchased to build stereo subs that now, because of a recent move, won't be built anytime soon. MCM sells 'em for $32 each; you can have this pair for $35 plus shipping. Prefer not to sell separately. Purchased in January or February 2005.

E-mail me at audiokinesis@yahoo.com and we'll work out the details.

Good luck with the move, Duke. Tell Lori I said "hi" and that we're still using the vapor lamp every day. Tell Earl I'm pretty sure it makes the acoustics better in my room, higher humidity must change the speed of sound or something. And get back over here and visit more often when you have time, I miss talking with you.

Thanks, Wayne!

We're now in Preston, Idaho... not really a high-end two-channel hotbed. Glad to hear the vapor lamp is still glowing strong - I'll tell Lori. We'll be at the Rocky Mountain Audio Fest in October; hope to see you there.

Hi wunhuanglo,

Given that "constant change is here to stay" (from "New World Man" by Rush), this move is as permanent as any.

Nice place, Preston. The people are quite friendly, though diversity isn't among the town's strong points. Ever see the movie "Napoleon Dynamite"? Filmed here. Pedro's house is two blocks away, and Uncle Rico's van is proudly displayed on Main Street.

Still, I miss New Orleans.

Just curious - where's your home?

Duke

I won't be at RMAF this year, but I'll be at GPAF again next year. Hope to see you there!

Mandeville.

Born and raised in Boston, came here in '92. Couldn't go back to cold weather tho', guess I'm too old.

Best of luck in ID.
