For (DRD) 300B amp below - say we have only 6,3V winding (or 6,6V without load, Rw=0,1 Ohm), and need 5V/1,2A "super clean" DC. Schottky bridge, then what? Many people "complain" that usual solutions - "low drop" 3-leg regulators, serial transistor reg., RCRC or even CLC (large electrolitic needed) are not good enough for DHT filament=cathode. Any ideas?
