They look very nice. Very professional job. They weigh about 5-6 pounds per. I was a bit freaked out when I picked up the box, since I was only expecting one. Yes, I am happy with them. Questions: 1) Is it possible to use these in our amp build. I really hate to send the extras back if we're going to use them later on. Can you design an amp around these? If so, I'll keep them. I know Heyboer is a small company and I really hate to see them eat the cost. They were doing us a favor in the first place. 2) There are lost of pretty wires hanging out of the Tx. Is there a conventional color scheme for the secondaries? ......Colin

HI Kids,
I got mine today, just one.It's very nice, about 6-7lb, Plenty big enought to run 1 or 2 ity bity tubes.
I do think they would be large enough to run a pair of amps, there rated for at least 100ma. As for the secondarys
Yellow 5V, green 6.3V
AT 122VAC (black)
Red/yellow= CT, Blue/red 262VAC, Blue 340VAC, Red 422VAC.

Well, you can sort them with an Ohm-meter. 400-325-250-0-250-325-400 will all have continuity. that's 7 of the many. The 5 and 6.3 are going to be near 0 Ohms( and I think youse got them center tapped, so the remaining pair of three wires with common continuity will be the filament windings). If I remember correctly, and the filament windings are CT, then the only single pair continuity will be the line/input. Apply votlage to this one slowly with a pigtail and a Variac and confirm voltages with a *FEW* VAC input at first. You don't want to try putting 120V on a 5V winding... Make a drawing and record your measurements. Don't loose the drawing!
