Illuminati (2nd Degree)

Metal "case", in metal version. In glass versions, 5V4G ("ST", or "shoulder" glass type) and 5V4GA ("tubular" glass type) this pin is not connected. Note that the DC "output", pin 8 - cathode, is shared with the heater.
