There's a sale going on for display items. I'm looking at a 50 inch Vizio 4k Smart LED Home Theater Display, they have it plugged up and it seems to work perfectly fine. The sale price is about $100 or so less than the usual price. It is sold "as is" and does not come with a warranty. Would you buy the display item? I included a poll for kicks.

Hi, I might if there was a warranty. No warranty = no sale to me.

Good Listening

I have done that before but had no luck in the end.
Luckily I had 30 days to return it. Bought from Best Buy.

I agree with Bruce and Johnny. My answer is, "it depends."

In general, I'll only buy a display item if there's nothing to lose but the packaging materials.

I am generally just a huge fan of getting a good deal on things. I would personally purchase the display, but I think it depends on how comfortable you feel about having no warranty.

I didn't buy it because of the warranty issue. I'm not sure if it was the right decision, but since I didn't need the t.v., it didn't make sense to take the unnecessary risk. Then again, do you really ever need a t.v.? Probably not, but I love a bargain. You all likely kept me from wasting money. Smile
