Thinking of repairing an aluminum plate that's about to be powder coated with JB Weld. Their website says JB Weld is an insulator, not a conductor.
Powder coat hits say the article to be coated gets grounded to process.
Gonna work?

had a few mistakes like too-deep counter sinks and an unwanted hole to fill. Dropped off the 12x17 top plate and 3x17 rear panel at the powder coater today. $20 bucks. Why paint? It's for the '45' amp I posted about a few weeks ago.

You know that epoxy uses heat to cure. It took the 400 degree flash-off but shrunk.So the little repairs show up. Really looks great, overall, tho'.
