My Foreplay base looks great. I used a water-based pre-stain sealer to start. Then I applied Antique Cherry TransFast Dye Powder, which was mixed with water. Finally, I applied several coasts of Tung oil. The wood has beautiful deep red, antique color. I couldn't be happier.
I just have a quick question. Should I use clear polyutherane as a top coat? If so, should I use water based or oil based over the Tung oil? Thanks in advance.

Special thanks to Bill Epstein for his help.

OK, OK. I get the picture. No Goopethane. You have me sold. Sold, that is.

Paste wax maybe?

I like this stuff. But then I like water based satin polyurethane, too.
