What do you think the format standard is going to end up for the Broadcast industry? A lot of people are holding off getting int HDTV until the dust settles. 1080 vs 720? Your opinions?

The standard is already set, at least for the not-too-distant future. By February 17, 2009, all analog broadcasts will stop and only digital formats will be broadcast. None of the analog televisions most of us own will work without a converter box of some sort.
