I'm in the market for a new TV so I figure I might as well catch up with the times.
I'm wondering if I should go with a plasma or not.

LCD is still better. Lower cost, much lighter weight, better reliability. The only downside to LCD is they aren't hang on the wall, but they're still only 2/3 the depth of CRT. I couldn't be more pleased with my Sony 42".
