I really liked Yamaha receivers in the late seventies and early eighties. I realize that's no help at all in judging today's Yamaha gear but if they're as quality conscious now as they were then, then I'd say they must be good. I've stuck with two-channel amps and monoblocks so haven't tried this model. Please report back if you find out more.
