Has anyone compared the Panasonic SA-XR45 to expensive amplifiers? [message #28419]

It's getting a lot of buzz on other forums.

I've been using it for two channel audio with SACD, DVD-A and redbook with very good results for such a cheap unit. It doesn't image as well as good tube amps.

The one I'm using has no mods but I do have power adapters on order to upgrade the power cord to a computer grade.
